A sonic sonnet preview

Here is a sneaky peak at The Benholm Potato Growers:


This is what I've been up to. A 32 sonnet sequence split into 2 halves: The Benholm Potato Growers and Pawnography, loosely based on chess. I'm reading on Tuesday at the Roehampton student reading, which should be a good laugh.

I'll start posting the sonnets in a few months (! - I have to wait for them to be 'assessed', just in case I'm accused of stealing my own stuff)

Possible future development for the project: I may add another 32 sonnets so a full chessboard can be made. 32 sonnets based on empty squares. Hmm....
