Summer Ball #15


Tennis Ball in the Beverly Brook on Wednesday 15th July.

How can I tell if these balls aren't just previous balls effected by the tide? 3 balls were spotted heading inland today, they will be posted later, but what if I find them upstream, stranded, how will I know? Do I have to get in the river and mark them? Can anyone lend me a boat?

wind in the willows / moustache / willows

Yesterday we visited the Wind in the Willows exhibition in Henley's River&Rowing museum. At the moment I'm working on a sequence that bounces off WITW. Here's the first poem of what is currently the 'Mole' section:

Spring is clean is
sprung &c
& O my
Onion Sauce is leaking
O stop stop! my
Onion Sauce is leeking
with sparkle
& with the river water
